Constructed from durable plastic and aluminum, this clock mechanism is lightweight thanks to the aluminum material, but it is important to avoid applying too much pressure on the hands during installation to prevent bending. Ensure that the hour and minute hands are kept level while installing to maintain accuracy.

The clock mechanism comes in a specially designed blister cardboard box with instructions for easy installation. Be sure to keep the hour and minute hands parallel when installing and follow the detailed installation instructions provided on the back of the package carefully.

The hour hand measures approximately 133 mm/5.2 inches and 116 mm/4.6 inches in length from the center of the hole to the tip, while the minute hand measures approximately 175 mm/6.9 inches and 160 mm/6.3 inches in length. The included second caps are 7 mm/0.28 inches.

The clock mechanism size features a total shaft length of approximately 23 mm/0.91 inches and a thread length of approximately 14.6 mm/0.57 inches. This jump second movement is suitable for 9 - 13 mm (0.35 - 0.51 inches) thick clock panels.
